School captains 2021/2022

Eddie Lever and Aruna Murphy
My goal for the Clontarf Beach SHS community in 2022 is to encourage students to keep their attendance high at school and to enjoy being here. I would like to make the school more inviting, which in turn will encourage students to come to school on a daily basis and learn. The student leadership team has already begun working on this goal over the past six months through organising and running lunch time activities for all students. Aruna and I support the sports captains by opening up the gym every Wednesday for all students to come along and participate in some games. We also work with each house captain to host an activity once a term for all students to participate in. Students really enjoy these activities and it is encouraging to see as a leadership team.
Eddie Lever
Throughout my time at CBSHS, I have seen our school change significantly in a positive way, whether that's inside the classrooms or outside within our playgrounds. As a student leader, I would love the opportunity to continue to support a positive, safe and comfortable environment for both students and teachers. In addition, I believe we need to reach out to local community programs and businesses to support and raise awareness for local causes. I hope to support our school community to continue to embrace the diversity within our school. I also believe that we as student leaders can build a strong, trusting relationship with other nearby schools on the Peninsula to be able to create shared goals. With the help of the student leadership team, through communication and encouragement of our student body, I believe that this goal is highly attainable.
