Clontarf Beach State High School’s House System and Care Program ensures every student is known, supported and connected to their school community.
From 2027, students will be part of one of three Houses, each named after a location within the Moreton Bay region:
Bribie – Blue | House Dean: Mr McCormack
Moreton – Purple | House Dean: Mr Smith
Stradbroke – Red | House Dean: Mr Tewes

Care Program
At enrolment, each student is assigned to a House and placed in a Care class with students from Years 7–12 from the same House, along with their Care teacher.
This class stays together throughout a student’s enrolment, providing a consistent support network across their secondary schooling.
Students meet with their Care class for 10 minutes each Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesdays, students have a dedicated Care session, providing additional time for wellbeing, academic support, House activities and other student needs. Each student is supported by their House Dean, who oversees their wellbeing, engagement and academic progress.
House Life
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to participate in House challenges, activities and competitions, building teamwork and friendly rivalry across the school.
House points are awarded for participation, achievement and positive contributions to school life, with students working together towards House rewards throughout the year.
The House System provides opportunities for students across all year levels to work together, develop leadership skills and contribute to the wider school community.
Our House History
Our House System has a long-standing history at Clontarf Beach State High School. Until 2026, students were part of one of four Houses — Argo, Leo, Orion or Pegasus.
From 2027, the House System will transition to the three new Houses — Bribie, Moreton and Stradbroke — marking a new chapter while continuing the traditions and spirit of our House community.
