There are a wide range of clubs, societies and committees for students to get involved with at CBSHS.
Please contact the staff who run each club to find out more information - Staff contacts. Clubs may sometimes run intermittently or change days so it's best to chat with the staff who run the clubs and activities.
- Homework Club: A supportive space where students can complete homework, catch up on classwork and get help when they need it. Please speak with your care teacher or contact the school office for current times and days.
- Science Club: Get hands-on with science through fun experiments, activities and challenges led by our Science technicians. Please contact the Science HOD for current times and days.
- Singing, Dancing & Drama Club: A fun and creative space for students to develop their skills in singing, dancing and drama. Please contact the Performing Arts HOD for current times and days.
- Dance: Our Dance Excellence Program provides students with opportunities to develop their technique, creativity and performance skills. Please contact the Dance Coordinator for opportunties.
- Japanese Club: Explore Japanese language and culture through fun activities, games and experiences. Please contact the Humanties HOD for current times and days.
- Chess Club: Students can enjoy a game of chess, develop their strategy and challenge their thinking. Run intermittently throughout the year. Please contact Mr Duus for current times and days.
- Run Club: Get active, build your fitness and enjoy running with friends at Run Club. Please contact the Sports HOD for current times and days.
- Girls NRLW: A supportive program where girls can develop their rugby league skills, fitness and confidence. Please contact the Sports HOD for current times and days.
- Beyond the Broncos: An engaging program supporting Indigenous girls through mentoring, leadership, wellbeing and personal development opportunities. Run intermittently throughout the year. Students will be invited as opportunities arise.
- House Challenges: Get involved in lunchtime House Challenges, have some fun and earn valuable points for your House.
- Eco Club: Students work together on sustainability projects and help make our school and environment a better place. Please contact the Science HOD for current times and days.
- Colourful Connections: A safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ students and their supporters to gather, socialise and feel supported. Please contact our Youth Support Co-ordinator.
