BYOx Device
Students at Clontarf Beach SHS bring their own internet-enabled device to use in class and at home for homework. Devices connect to EQ’s filtered Wi-Fi at school.

Unsuitable devices include:
Chromebook, Windows RT, iPad Mini, Android Devices, Windows machine with 64GB storage or less, Windows 7/8/8.1 OS and Linux OS devices.
Do not purchase a Chromebook as they are not compatible with the EQ Network.
Do not purchase a device without 5ghz Wi-Fi often called “Dual Band Wi-Fi"
Students are responsible for looking after their device; the school is not responsible for loss or damage. Accidental damage insurance is recommended.
+ BYOx uses Windows inTune to support connection to wireless technologies. Students will have a better experience connecting to the system using a Windows device.
Computers sold with “Win10 Home" in “S" mode need to be converted to full Windows 10 operating system, before being able to on-board to the BYOx system.
