Arrangements for back to School on Monday 24th January
On Monday 24th January school will be open for vulnerable children and the children of essential workers. (An essential worker is someone who provides essential services and who is unable to work from home. This includes but is not limited to doctors, nurses and other front-line medical staff, retail workers, haulage drivers and police officers.)
If your child is coming to school please note that:
- Masks are required to be worn unless the student has an exemption.
- Our School canteen will not be open till 7 Feb (so students will need to bring their morning tea and lunch).
- Students are required to wear their uniform at all times on school grounds.
- Students are expected to bring writing materials (eg notebook and pen etc.)
- Students of essential works and vulnerable students attending next week are asked to assemble on the grassed area outside the office when the first bell goes at 8.15am.
- Students in attendance for the next two weeks will be engaging in Learning@Home work developed by Education Queensland for use in events such as what we are currently experiencing. Parents can be assured that 2022 curriculum will not be delivered during the first two weeks and that teachers are currently planning to ensure students are not disadvantaged by the delayed start to the school year.
- All school expectations in relation to behaviour (Off and Away, our 4 Be's) remain in place.
