Clontarf Beach State High School is redefining senior schooling by offering students clear, supported pathways into further study, training, and employment while they are still at school.
Big enough to provide opportunity, yet small enough to care, the school fosters a strong sense of belonging where students are known, supported, and encouraged to succeed. Located just minutes from the beach, Clontarf Beach State High also takes advantage of its coastal setting through specialised learning in areas such as Aquatic Practices and Marine Science.
As students enter senior schooling, the school works closely with families to map out individual pathways, helping students make informed decisions about their future goals and career direction.
A wide range of vocational education and training opportunities are available, including certificates in Construction, Hospitality, Engineering pathways, Fitness, and Health Services. These programs allow students to gain practical, industry-relevant skills while still completing their secondary education.
In 2026, the school introduced the RAISE Program (Raising Achievement, Inspiring Student Excellence), a whole-school initiative designed to strengthen teaching practice and improve student outcomes. The program provides structured time for teachers to collaboratively review student learning data, reflect on progress, and implement targeted strategies to support achievement to better meet the needs of individual students.
In addition, some students are extending their academic journey by undertaking university subjects while still in Year 10, including pathways into engineering and other tertiary fields.
